Silver Spring, MD
On Thursday, November 16th, the Harkins team gathered for the groundbreaking of our Park Montgomery project.
Park Montgomery will feature the renovation of a 1973 15-story high-rise building paired with the demolition of an existing parking garage and new construction of a 76-unit affordable apartment building over a new parking garage. In addition, there will be a 3,410 sf community space with a fitness center, club room, leasing offices, and a package room. We look forward to working with long-time client Enterprise Community Development, architect Soto Architecture + Urban Design, and other project partners on this affordable housing project in Montgomery County!
On Wednesday, November 8th, Harkins joined project partners to celebrate the grand opening of The Ruby, formerly known as 420 Aisquith.
Our team is thrilled to add this 72-unit affordable apartment community to East Baltimore. In addition to the units, the project offers a private on-grade parking garage, 4,900 sf of interior amenity space, and a 3,700 sf courtyard on the second floor. The community features many amenities such as a fitness room, business center, lounge, club room with kitchenette, and courtyard for seating and recreation. Congratulations to Mission First Housing Group, The Henson Development Company, Grimm + Parker Architects, and all other project partners on this new development that adds to the Perkins-Somerset-Oldtown Transformation in Downtown Baltimore.
