Ft. Stevens Place Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

The Harkins team attended the ribbon cutting ceremony at Ft. Stevens Place Apartments on Thursday, September 26th.
Originally built in 1952, Ft. Stevens Place is a three-story affordable apartment community located in Northwest Washington, DC. The project involved the phased renovation of 59 apartments made up of two efficiencies, 32 one-bedroom and 25 two-bedroom units.
The scope of work included replacing windows, new interior finishes, new plumbing fixtures, kitchen upgrades, and new mechanical and electrical systems. The basement level was configured into a new community room and management office. Additionally, a two-story mechanical space was modified into another community space. Exterior improvements include newly paved sidewalks, new roofing, and extensive stormwater management systems.
