Shreveport Ridge

Shreveport Ridge Apartments is a new 98-unit multifamily rental community designed specifically as workforce housing in Brambleton, Virginia. Four three-story buildings comprise the development, with two-story townhouses over one-story flats in each building. In compliance with VHDA’s Universal Design criteria, all of the multi-bedroom first floor units are handicap accessible.

The project is a certified EarthCraft community that features insulated wall sheathing, high-efficiency water heaters, Energy Star appliances, low-flow/water sense plumbing and fixtures, and geothermal mechanical system. This is the largest geothermal project ever funded by VHDA, and one of the two largest apartment projects in the state of Virginia to be entirely geothermal.

The project was developed by TM Associates in partnership with Windy Hill Foundation. TM Associates is a full-service residential property management company for conventional and affordable housing with LIHTC, HUD, USDA-RD, or bond financing. Windy Hill Foundation’s mission is to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for working families, the elderly, and the disabled while encouraging self-improvement and self-sufficiency.
