This new apartment community in Ellicott City, Maryland has four apartment buildings, a clubhouse, and a storage and maintenance building. The ten-acre project included extensive site work, and Harkins also installed a new county road, 249 pervious concrete parking spaces, nine retaining walls, and 13 stormwater management ponds.
The first level of the building facades are all brick veneer, and the remaining skin of the building is vinyl siding accented by portions of brick, PVC panel, and trim. The roofs are mainly asphalt shingles, with each unit having two small portions of EPDM roof for the rooftop condenser units. Most of the 1,000 sf units have two bedrooms and two baths.
The 3,800 sf clubhouse provides tenants with a swimming pool, exercise room, locker rooms, and community space.
