Harkins Builders is pleased to announce the promotion of Tom Capps to vice president. Tom joined Harkins in 1978 as an assistant site manager and has held positions at all levels of construction management, most recently serving as division manager. Tom will oversee the construction of projects for Catholic Charities and other repeat clients, as well as developing and sustaining new relationships.

Tom is active with the Metro Washington Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC), and is currently serving on the Leadership Advisory Council. He has served on its board of directors and numerous committees. He is chairman of the 2012 Catholic Charities Dragon Boat Races, the organization’s premier fundraising event, held bi-annually at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor.
