John Loftus
Vice
President of Construction Excellence

John
has filled many roles in the Harkins organization. In 1983 he began his career
as an assistant site manager and worked his way up to site manager before being
promoted to quality assurance manager in 1991. Prior to his promotion to vice president, John
worked on numerous projects, including design-build, multi-family housing,
military housing, concrete highrise, and historic restorations.
His
extensive field experience and educational background made John an exceptional
candidate to lead our corporate quality assurance program. John has a thorough
knowledge of all types of construction projects, construction details, codes,
UL assemblies, and takes great pride in his efforts to improve project details,
analyze construction systems, and implement new processes on all our company
projects.
John
is certified by the Army Corps of Engineers in contractor quality control, and
is an active member in the American Society of Quality, BOCA, ACI, ASTM, NFPA,
and NAHB. John maintains an acute awareness of the latest industry
technologies, and is active on many committees within the company.
